Throughout our 26-year history, Pacific Council members have served with distinction in both Republican and Democratic administrations across a broad array of agencies. The most recent and positive exemplar of this process at work is the nomination of Dr. Cynthia Telles, as Ambassador to Costa Rica, and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, as Ambassador to India.

The Pacific Council on International Policy has presented a First 100 Days Memo on U.S.-Mexico Policy to the Biden administration, outlining recommendations on trade, immigration, and diplomacy, as well as urging President Joe Biden to take immediate action to strengthen the bilateral relationship from the outset of his term.

We are happy to announce at the end of July our Membership Advisory Committee voted in 56 new members to the Pacific Council. Our newest members come from a multitude of different industries and locations across our country and globe but all with a common thread: their dedication and commitment to international affairs.
