The Pacific Council resumed its international delegation program with a trip to Oslo, Norway and Helsinki, Finland, from May 1 - May 5, 2023.
This delegation explored policy issues relating to regional security, energy, U.S. relations with both Norway and Finland, impacts of climate change on the Arctic in terms of security and trade, effects of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Finland’s shared border with Russia, and the increasing strategic importance of NATO.
