Taiwan Delegation Gallery

November 2023

In November 2023, the Pacific Council on International Policy organized a delegation to Taiwan. Delegates held briefings with executives from the semiconductor industry, met with Taiwanese Ministers, visited the Port of Taipei, engaged in discussions with American and Taiwanese journalists, and had the opportunity to explore one of Taiwan’s leading academic institutions, National Taiwan University.

The main themes of the trip covered Taiwanese security, cross-strait relations with China, Taiwan’s forthcoming Presidential elections, the media landscape in Taiwan, U.S. influence in the region, and the bilateral relationship with Taiwan.
