In February 2024, the Pacific Council on International Policy organized a delegation to the United Arab Emirates to meet with senior officials in government, academia, and the private sector. Delegates joined over 25 heads of state at the World Governments Summit and heard from UAE Minister of State for AI HE Omar Al Olama, Mubadala Group CEO HE Khaldoon Al Mubarak, and NVIDIA President Jensen Huang on topics ranging from AI, the digital economy, and global investment strategies. The group also met with Fiker Institute founder Dubai Abulhoul.
