The Pacific Council recently hosted a discussion with Alabama state Rep. Anthony Daniels, minority leader in the state House of Representatives, and Kimberly Freeman, Associate Dean and Chief Diversity Officer of USC Dornsife, about how “domestic” issues such as institutional racism, educational reform, prison reform, voter suppression issues, and the healthcare system impact the United States’ standing in the world.
