SUMMIT OF THE AMERICAS: THE GLOBAL FOOD CRISIS AND THE AMERICAS
A hybrid event in partnership with The United States Agency for International Development (USAID): a panel discussion on responses to the global food crisis in the Americas. This event featured Samantha Power, USAID Administrator. The Ninth Summit marks the first time the United States has hosted the event since the inaugural meeting in Miami in 1994. It is President Biden’s highest priority event for the region and the only hemispheric meeting of leaders.
